Vancouver Pop-Up-Poets

Vancouver Pop-Up-Poets is an initiative by Meharoona Ghani of M. Ghani Consulting to engage with people through art and to give them a sense of belonging. Local poets write a poem for passers-by on the spot and share it aloud. Live painters, musicians and videographers dedicated their passion to this successful project. Wilco van Bemmel was responsible for the video production of the event.

Building a City for Children

Is it safe for children to walk or ride the streets of Vancouver? Are there enough fun ways for children to play outside? What makes a neighbourhood child-friendly? Collaborating with Modacity and This City Life, Wilco van Bemmel presented the Dutch approach to child-friendly neighbourhoods and making outdoor play on streets, schoolyards and playgrounds safe and fun again.
